Prof.Rully said that the 2019 Natamukti Award was considered to be an important and strategic momentum, not only for those in the government pillar but also for the other three pillars, namely academics, researchers and business people. Where the four pillars must move simultaneously with a shared vision and mission. Collaboration between the four pillars can produce greater synergy if the goals to be achieved are also the same. Thus, ICSB can be a driving force and a bridge/media between the four pillars.
With regards to the award, Deputy Regent of Kulon Progo Drs.H.Sutedjo said that with the achievement of the Natamukti Award, the Kulon Progo Regional Government should be more motivated, to provide more guidance for the development of MSMEs in Kulon Progo Regency. So far, the award has been given to Kulon Progo Regency after developing MSMEs, among others by the regional regulation for the arrangement of modern shops, and the protection of people’s markets, traditional markets, and several marts (modern stores) that have been acquired by the Cooperative, and the cooperatives are the people, then products of the MSMEs of Kulon Progo Regency has entered a lot of Tomira marts.
“With so many MSMEs products entering Tomira and counters at Yogyakarta International Airport, it means that many MSME products can be marketed and published properly. So, therefore, this award deserves to be achieved by Kulon Progo Regency. Then it becomes a challenge for us all, to develop what we have done and already on the track, we only need to develop it to be more optimal, so that more and more MSMEs can spawn quality products, so they can enter a wider market. This is our hope related to the acceptance of this award “said Deputy Regent of Kulon Progo Drs. H. Sutedjo, on Monday, October 7, 2019, at IPB Convention Hotel Bogor City, West Java.
