GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR GOESAR LIVEABOARD’S DOCKYARD

May 12, 2018, Toba Samosir, North Sumatera, Indonesia

Goesar Tiga Putra, a multi-business holding company, held the official groundbreaking ceremony for its new dockyard in conjunction with their latest liveaboard cruise business unit, Goesar Liveaboard.

Located at Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatera, Indonesia. The future dockyard of KLM Rumiris (motorsailer), the first fleet and pride of Goesar Liveaboard remains on 1,800 meter square of land. The dockyard will begin its pioneering construction of the motorsailer on July 2018 and finish base on its tightly target in the middle of 2019.

The Groundbreaking presided over by its Chairman, Mr. Christman Desanto H. Goesar and President Director, Mrs. Lina Patricia Rimiris Ritonga. Some of the attendances were the holding representatives, as well as Mr. Nino Krisnan, President Director of Anteria Asia and Kakanoo Maritime the official motorsailer contractor and also witness by the head of the village, and other distinguished guests.

One of the ritual dish prepared by the local community is the Itak Gurgur, a traditional Batak food which must be consumed at a particular Batak customary event. The word ‘Gurgur’ means smoldering/burning. Giving Itak Gurgur to someone signifies the hope to transfer a fiery spirit to its recipient.

The Batak Toba is known throughout Indonesia as capable musicians, and are perceived as confident, outspoken and willing to question authority, expressing differences to resolve them through discussion. This outlook on life is contradicted by the Javanese people, Indonesia’s largest ethnic group, who are more culturally conciliatory and less willing to air differences publicly.
